Pauline Artisanal Swim Knits acknowledges climate change and the need for ecologically friendly sustainability. The principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle became the foundation of our vision. And with that, a slow-fashion product was created that does not negatively impact our planet, community, or society.

The choice not to use virgin materials but rather to utilize textile waste, such as leftover fabric scraps, to create new yarns and recycle production scraps into fibers that can be spun into new yarn, was not a choice at all when it meant less water usage, energy consumption, and chemical pollution during production.

Our materials, including packaging, are certified to the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). It undergoes a comprehensive product standard of testing to verify and track recycled raw materials, as well as the processing criteria to prevent the use of hazardous chemicals and ensure positive social and environmental practices at our partner facilities.

Our approach to selecting our supply chains was based on our shared values; therefore, we partnered with manufacturers that rely on renewable energy sources, such as a combination of photovoltaic and wind power, to power their facilities and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We are a global community, and through our collective efforts, we can enjoy the benefits of an improved environment for generations to come.
